I met Bob Saltzer through a mutual friend. Bob is a board member for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Richmond, which include over 30 sites in the city. Homeless World Cup

This Spring we have worked with a soccer team in Charlotte that is made up of homeless men and women. The creator of the team is Davidson Soccer alumnus Lawrence Cann. The team plays in a local adult league, and has been awarded a great honor to represent the US in this summer's Homeless World Cup, to be played in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Star in the Community

Star's community programs stepped up a gear over the winter period with many new initiatives and opportunities arising that benefit the community at large. Star's relationship with the Eureka Parks and Rec Center continues to develop. 120 Star players attended the center for Indoor Soccer and Star coaches conducted a clinic for local residents.
